If you live in Paso Robles or have stayed a while, you may know the incredible sense of community that the area offers. In wine country, there is nothing better then spending an afternoon among friends – drinking a glass of wine alongside a local musician playing guitar, and sinking your teeth into one (or two!) of Chef Jeffery’s savory custom burgers. This is what “Burger Days” are all about...

The idea started with Chef Jeffery and his longtime Paso Robles friend and winemaker, Neil Collins of Lone Madrone who wanted to get the wine neighborhood together on Sundays to dish up burgers made from whatever ingredients available to Chef Jeffery that week. With the first Burger Day launched in 2010, the idea quickly became a tradition and attracted loyal fans and followers including esteemed winemakers. Don’t be surprised if you stop by the next Burger Day and see some now celebrity winemakers eating burgers while playing a wine-country game of corn hole together.

Burger Days are all about the community – but of course, it wouldn’t be called a  “Burger Day” without the one-of-a-kind artisan burgers that we prepare. Each week, each venue – the burgers are different, but always a custom grind and always a wine-friendly burger. Don’t expect the traditional ketchup, mustard and pickles for toppings – but rather a spontaneous burger made with unique ingredients and recipes created on the fly.

  • Lone Madrone - Always pushing the envelope with Burger Days. Niman Ranch Lamb, Basil Aioli, Tomato Confit, locally baked brioche bun. Enjoy a casual game of corn hole among friends and enjoy a burger and glass of Lone Madrone wine with Paso Robles winemakers. You’ll be a member of our wine country family for a day... or a lifetime.
  • Oso Libre – Join the gathering of Oso Libre followers to get a taste of the finest estate raised dry-aged Angus beef in Paso Robles. A custom oak grill, memorable scenery, and the personal touch of proprietors Chris and Linda Behr.
